Q1: What gas does this WiFi smart carbon monoxide alarm detect?
A: It specially detects carbon monoxide (CO), a colorless, odorless toxic gas produced by incomplete combustion of coal, gas, charcoal, vehicle exhaust and firewood. It cannot detect natural gas or liquefied gas alone。
Q2: What are the differences from ordinary carbon monoxide alarms?
A: 1. WiFi-connected for real-time concentration monitoring and remote alarm push on mobile phones;
2. Historical concentration curve records available on APP;
3. Remote silence and fault reminder functions;
4. Compatible with smart home linkage (exhaust fans, gas solenoid valves, etc.);
Q3: Where can it be installed?
A: Bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens, garages, boiler rooms, RVs, coal-fired rooms and basements, beside gas water heaters. Do NOT install it where cooking fumes blow directly, highly humid bathrooms or outdoors under direct sunlight.
Q4: What is the proper installation height?
A: Carbon monoxide is slightly lighter than air. Mount it within 30cm below the ceiling, 2.2–2.7 meters above the ground on walls. Keep it away from doors, windows and range hood outlets.

Q5: Which WiFi bands are supported, 2.4G or 5G?
A: Only 2.4GHz WiFi is supported; 5G WiFi is incompatible. The router must enable DHCP, and hidden WiFi SSID is not allowed.
Q6: What causes pairing failure?
A: 1. Connected to 5G network;
2. WiFi password contains special symbols;
3. Weak WiFi signal due to long distance from the router;
4. The device is not in fast pairing mode;
